Forced to face a generation of scars
There’s one that I smile on
One that I remember getting
But I don’t seem to be regretting
Never had the benefit of easily forgetting
I have the unfortunate habit of always chasing mystery
And she has more mystery than American history
But literally is visibly the most physically
Apt form of undiscovery I’ve ever discovered
Maybe…yet
She questions me
So I question myself
She’ll get by
Without my help
Truth be told I could never tame this dragon
Because dragon’s don’t exist
Just like nothing lasts forever
Neither will this
But I have to admit
Even though I’m chasing the wind
Like I’m hunting my end
I’m going to get my kisses all the way there…
